Grown at around 2,000–2,200 masl in the highlands of Imbabura, Ecuador, this Red Bourbon comes from Habitat Coffee Farm, led by Mario Andrade and his family.

The farm has produced coffees that have qualified for the Golden Cup Ecuador several times, and its high altitude creates ideal conditions for slow cherry development and a clean, expressive cup.

This washed Red Bourbon is bright and balanced, with a clean sweetness and flavour notes of sugarcane, orange and red fruits.

Behind every lot is the work of many people, from taking care of the trees and harvesting the cherries to carefully processing the coffee. For UYANA, this coffee is especially meaningful because of our personal connection with Mario and the opportunity to bring a coffee from a friend, his family and their farm in Ecuador directly to you.

We will keep sharing more of this coffee’s story as it continues to unfold.

Thanks for being here.
